SAN JUSTO DE LA VEGA

The people born in a Roman route that communicated throughout the North of the Iberian Peninsula from Asturica Augusta (Astorga) to Tarraco (Tarragona), through Caesaraugusta (Zaragoza), and part of which, from Navarra, then became the Pilgrims way to Santiago.

Our village was the last, or first, before entering and leaving on or city of Astorga and it seems that was born under the Roman Road or Camino de Santiago. In fact, it remains the most populated town of Astorga those around overlook the Vega del Tuerto. Something to do with it being located in the same Roman road, besides being located in front of the widest part of the Vega del Tuerto.
